In past most adult had an hepatitis A antibody in Korea, but recently by improved hygiene, antibody-acquired rate is decreased and apparent infection of hepatitis A is increasing, so many complications of hepatitis A is reported. In that complication, Guillain-Barre syndrome is a rare complication reported by 17 cases in the world. Here we met two cases of non-fulminant hepatitis A who developed Guillain-Barre syndrome in the course of disease and recovered by immunoglobulin injection. So if acute hepatitis A patient has a neurologic symptom like up-stream paralysis, we must consider Guillain-Barre syndrome and need to evaluate and treat as possible as we can.
